Colorgenic VARs Platform — connecting sales, loyalty and field operations in one system
A reseller programme of this breadth needed more than a catalogue or ordering app. Product discovery, order placement, points and rewards, reseller support, field-manager performance, training, targets and administration had to operate across different user roles without losing visibility between them.
AnayaWorld designed and engineered a role-based web and mobile platform connecting VARs, Area Sales Managers, Branch Managers, programme administrators and helpdesk operations through one coordinated system.
Context
In 2021, Colorgenic Marketing Services engaged Anaya Communication Pvt Ltd to design and build a multi-role platform for a pharmaceutical-sector reseller programme. The platform connected a value-added-reseller channel — the network of resellers, area sales managers and branch managers who sell and support products in the field — through one system, working alongside Akkado on the programme's administrative workflow.
Programme challenge
Reselling a pharmaceutical product range this way meant more than taking orders. Resellers needed product information, an ordering path, and a way to track loyalty rewards; the field organisation managing them — area sales managers and branch managers — needed visibility into reseller activity, training completion and targets; and the programme itself needed administration, content management and a support channel that didn't get lost across all of that.
Role hierarchy
The programme's field organisation is structured as a hierarchy: Branch Managers oversee Area Sales Managers, who in turn oversee the Value-Added Resellers (VARs) who sell the programme's products directly. Alongside that field hierarchy, the platform serves Colorgenic Admin and Akkado Admin users who administer programme-wide content and data, a content-management (CMS) role, and a separate helpdesk/ticket-management function.
VAR experience
A VAR logs in with a mobile-number OTP and lands on a dashboard showing their points balance, associated customers and order activity. From there they can browse the product catalogue, view individual product detail, create and manage customers, place and repeat orders, and view order history and summaries. Orders placed outside the app can be reconciled by uploading the invoice for admin approval. The same dashboard carries the loyalty programme — points, a reward catalogue, redemption and redemption history — and lets a VAR raise a concern or support ticket, see their assigned ASM contact, receive notifications, and take part in quizzes and surveys published by the programme.
Ordering & customer workflow
Order placement follows a set path: a VAR selects an existing customer or creates a new one, selects products from the catalogue and quantities, and reviews an order summary before confirming. Past orders can be viewed or repeated from order history, and VARs can set reminders for order follow-up.
Loyalty & rewards
Points accumulate against VAR activity and can be redeemed against a reward catalogue that Colorgenic Admin and Akkado Admin maintain. VARs can track their points balance, browse individual reward items, and follow a redemption through to its history — giving the loyalty mechanic the same visibility as an order.
Field-management layer
Area Sales Managers and Branch Managers each have their own web panel, reached the same OTP-based way as VARs. An ASM's dashboard centres on the resellers mapped to them: order and status data, sales information, training records, targets against achievement, and a leaderboard. A Branch Manager's dashboard rolls the same categories up across every ASM mapped to that branch, with downloadable reports at both levels.
Admin / programme operations
Colorgenic Admin and Akkado Admin operate the programme from a password-based login. Between them, admin functions cover bulk VAR creation and points upload, ASM creation, target and achievement uploads, meeting-data uploads, product and reward-catalogue management, quiz and survey administration, redemption management, notifications, and a content-management system for the product catalogue and static content — alongside exports and reports across customers, orders and every role in the hierarchy.
Support & ticketing
A separate Ticket Management system gives the helpdesk its own login and dashboard: open and closed tickets, ticket creation and status updates, internal notes, canned responses, an FAQ library organised by category, and its own reporting.
Reporting & visibility
Reporting runs through every layer of the system rather than sitting in one place: VARs see their own order and points history, ASMs and BMs get downloadable reports scoped to the resellers and managers mapped to them, and admin can export customer, order and role-level data across the whole programme.
Cloud architecture
The production platform ran on a multi-tier Cloudflare and AWS architecture designed for availability, scale and operational visibility. Traffic was routed through Cloudflare, Route 53 and Elastic Load Balancing into scalable EC2 web and application tiers, with Auto Scaling, ElastiCache, database services, S3 and CloudFront supporting the application and content layers. CloudWatch, SNS and SES supported monitoring and operational notifications.
Delivery model
The engagement progressed through design, development and testing & QA, followed by the post-delivery support period defined for the project. The platform was completed and handed over to the client.
